40 anonymised mira check-up cases. Grade each case exactly as you would on the platform.

What the buttons mean

The buttons are the same ones you would use on the mira platform, and the colour tells you what kind of statement you are making.

Blue: a standard wording that goes into the report — anamnesis, refraction, intraocular pressure, and the visual acuity blocks. They describe the case; they are not findings.

Green: nothing abnormal for this participant’s age. Setting it rules out the findings below, so it is either green or one or more red buttons, never both.

Red: a finding in that structure. Set every one you see; several can apply to the same eye.

Per case

Read the anamnesis and the examiner’s remarks, then set the text blocks that apply.
Grade visual acuity: within normal range, or suspicious.
Grade both fundus images separately, right eye and left eye. Click an image to enlarge it.
Finish with the overall rating for the whole check-up.

The overall rating

This is the one that decides what happens to the participant.

Age-appropriate — nothing that needs follow-up. Regular check-ups recommended.
Slight abnormalities — findings yes, but no action required now. Recommended check-up at the optician in 1 year.
Abnormalities requiring further investigation — the participant should see an ophthalmologist within a given time period that you can define (1 week to 12 months).
Abnormalities urgently requiring investigation by ophthalmologist — this case should be seen by an ophthalmologist at the latest within 1–3 days.
